A New Creation

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

Galatians 6:15
For neither is circumcision [now] of any importance, nor uncircumcision, but [only] a new creation [the result of a new birth and a new nature in Christ Jesus, the Messiah].

Colossians 2:11
In Him also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, but in a [spiritual] circumcision [performed by] Christ by stripping off the body of the flesh (the whole corrupt, carnal nature with its passions and lusts).

So...my question is this for you.  If you are a new creation, what changed when you were born-again? Your body?  Your soul or your mind, will, and emotions?  Your spirit?  What was saved??  What was radically changed??

I know that there is sin...I know that there is temptation....and our minds were not saved and renewing the mind is a constant discipline....all these are the battlefield of a believer.  I honestly am confused as to why believers say they are still fighting their  "sin nature" all the time. Weren't we redeemed from that when Christ came in and totally changed us and gave us a new spirit...alive in Christ??
