promises

Do you have dreams? Visions and promises that the Lord has placed in you or given you but as you wait there have been circumstances and hope differed so often that you feel the dream is gone or you may have missed it or you want to give up?

I want to encourage you not to give up. I am convinced that the way that God sees TIME and the way we see time is entirely different. If you read your Bible..you will see time and time again...promises given to different men and women...and a HUGE amount of waiting till the promise was actually seen. YEARS of waiting. Read about David. He was anointed King, but how long did he wait till it manifested in the natural? Abraham and Sarah before they held Isaac in their arms. Moses before he led the children of Israel out of Egypt? I do believe that is where faith comes into play. The Word of God does say that "without faith it is impossible to please God". God likes to make you believe beyond what you see with your natural senses and believe Him above all else.

So..while you wait in faith to see these things come to pass...what are you doing in the meantime? I say... live each day full of hope and expectation! Don't miss out on today while you look ahead. Love life!

I say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment. I still have a dream. --Martin Luther King Jr., Aug. 28, 1963

Have you heard the song, Worship While You Wait in the movie Fireproof? Awesome song along this line of thinking.

Over the course of my life I have had many a dream, and even a few visions. Some have come-to-pass in ways I never thought possible; others tarry. I wait expectantly, trusting the Lord to fulfill each and every one.

What a great hope to weave into the lives of your readers today!
